The Macon Police Department has made arrests in an entering auto incident.

Officers responded to what was reported as a commercial burglary Thursday night. Upon arrival, they observed three black males, behind PL Cleaners on Mercer University Drive, sorting through clothing that had been removed from the business' van.

Two of the suspects were apprehended quickly while the third attempted to flee the scene, but was captured quickly.

Officers discovered that the passenger side panel door window in the van had been broken. All items of clothing were recovered and returned to the owner of PL Cleaners.

Police arrested 17 year-old Julian Jerren Kendrick and 16 year-old and 11 year-old minor males.

Major Robert Grabowski told WGXA, "We want the public to know that our patrol officers are on the streets day and night searching for criminal activity and protecting our citizens. Parents need to take responsibility for their children, and know where they are and what they're doing."

Kendrick was transferred to the Bibb LEC and charged with Entering Auto. The two minors were referred to juvenile court on the same Entering Auto charge. Kendrick was released on $1,300 bond.
