Macon Teacher Accused of Beating Daughter

A teacher at Alexander 2 School in Macon has turned herself in after allegedly beating her 17-year-old daughter.

Susan Parker Bergmark is facing charges of family battery.

The Macon Police Department is handling the case.

Bergmark posted bond and was released just before 3 p.m. Monday.

Bergmark has been a teacher for over 20 years and has 3 daughters.
