Macon Shooting Under Investigation

An early morning shooting is under investigation by the Macon Police Department.

Public Information Officer Jami Gaudet tells NewsCentral, an 18-year old victim was shot in the leg during a robbery on the Wilshire Woods property on Rocky Creek Road early Tuesday morning.

Gaudet says two men wearing masks approached the victim, demanded money and then shot him in the leg.

The victim was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia for treatment by a friend.
