Macon Police Seek Friday Night Shooting Suspect

Macon Police are looking for a suspect in a Friday night shooting.

Officers responded to the 700 block of Patton Avenue just after 10 p.m. Friday. A 22-year-old black female advised officers that her female cousin had been shot and taken to the hospital. The female on the scene advised that 49-year-old Anthony Green was asked to leave their apartment following an altercation.

According to Macon Police, as a 15-year-old inside the apartment was closing the door, Green fired one shot through the closed door with a hand gun, striking her in the buttocks.

The teen was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Green fled the scene in a truck to an unknown location.
