Macon Police Involved in Monday Night Shootout

Officers with the Macon Police Department were involved in a shootout Monday night.
The incident happened at 3061 Montpelier Avenue when officers responded to an armed robbery. When the suspects saw detectives on the scene, they opened fire. Detectives returned fire and gave chase.
22 year-old Anta veyo Clark and 27 year-old Jarvis Childs were arrested and charged with counts of Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder and counts of Armed Robbery.
A third suspect, Rashad Akeem Williams, currently is being sought for his role in this incident.
