Macon Police Investigating Weekend Stabbing

Macon Police are investigating a Saturday stabbing.

It happened at MLK Jr. Blvd. and Cherry Street just after 3 a.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived, the victim stated he and his roommate, Clifford Hodges, had an argument. As the victim walked away, he saw Hodges pull out a knife that he used to stab him in the back.

Hodges was later arrested and transported to the Bibb County LEC and has been charged with aggravated assault.

The victim was transported to the hospital. There is no word on his condition.
