Macon Police Investigating Two Monday Evening Shootings

Macon Police are investigating two Monday evening shootings.

The first happened in the 2400 block of Brevard Drive just after 5 p.m. Monday. The victim in this incident told officers that when he arrived home, and as he exited his vehicle, an unseen home invader shot at him from inside his home, striking him in the right thigh.

An hour later, officers responded to the 3300 block of Sherry Drive where the victims in this case were standing outside of their vehicles in a parking lot when unknown suspects drove past in a red Lincoln Town Car with tinted windows and 22-inch rims.

The suspects fired at the victims from inside the car. None of the victims on the scene were struck. Two of the vehicles were hit by bullets.
