Macon Police Investigating Friday Morning Shooting

Macon Police are investigating a Friday morning shooting.

Officers responded to the Medical Center of Central Georgia in reference to an armed robbery that occurred at Flash Foods.

According to a press release, the victim stated that he and other subjects got into a verbal altercation. He later went to Flash Foods where a group surrounded him and another altercation ensued.

Someone on the scene took out a handgun and pistol whipped the victim. Others on hand went into his pockets and removed cash. The subjects left the scene in what is described to be a black Grand Marquis.
