Macon Police Department cites two establishments without alcohol licenses

Some downtown bars and clubs got a surprise last week when local law enforcement walked into their establishments.

The Macon Police Department did a routine check on Friday to make sure clubs and bars are in compliance with city policies. According to public information officer for the department, Jami Gaudet, the MPD Narcotics Unit checked 17 establishments for business and alcohol licenses. From the 17 they checked...Club Envy in downtown Macon and Alexander Ballroom on Eisenhower Pkwy were the only establishments not in compliance and cited for sale of alcohol without a license.
