Macon Men Arrested in Connection to Lowe's Hardware Stabbing

Two Macon men have been arrested and charged in connection to a stabbing at a Warner Robins Lowe's Hardware store on February 7th.

Members of the United States Marshal Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 58-year-old Alfred Thomas of Macon and 62-year-old Robert Broady of Macon on February 17th.

Both men were charged with Aggravated Assault and Felony Shoplifting. Additional charges are pending. They remain in the Houston County jail without bond.

Officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the Lowe's Hardware at 2704 Watson Boulevard on February 7th. At that time, according to a release from the Warner Robins Police Department, the preliminary investigation revealed Lowes’ Loss Prevention Officers observed two black males shoplifting within the store. The employees attempted to apprehend the males in the parking lot when one of the males stabbed one of the employees in the chest. The suspects fled the area. The victim was transported to the Houston Medical Center for treatment. His injuries were not life threatening.
