Macon Man Found Guilty in 2009 Store Clerk Murder

A Bibb County jury found 21-year-old Maurice Battle guilty of murder.

Battle was charged with killing chevron clerk Dipak Danny Patel nearly two years ago.

Jurors also found Battle guilty of five other charges including armed robbery and aggravated assault. Sentencing is scheduled for Thursday August 16th.
