Lucas Announces Endorsements, Criticizes Paris

Former State Representative and current Senatorial candidate David Lucas held a press conference this Thursday to announce some of his endorsements.
Doctor Joseph Lowery and City Council President James Timely were among those on hand to endorse Lucas.
During the press conference Lucas produced a flyer he says is being distributed by his opponent Miriam Paris which features a photo of Lucas asleep in the State Capitol.
Lucas said Paris is the candidate asleep at the wheel.
"First of all you have to be able to read and comprehend a bill. And its quite obvious that the Senator cannot read or comprehend a bill. You ask her. Don't let her use a piece of paper and let somebody write it out for her. Ask her what did she do and what did the bill do. " -David Lucas
Lucas says he is willing to debate Paris publicly at any time.
