A Macon man who was considered a person of interest in an east Macon double homicide is now charged with murder.
According to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center website, Rodney Lanier Lowery is charged with Felony Murder and a Parole Violation.
Late last week Public Information Officer Jami Gaudet released a picture of Lowery as a person of interest in the Cowan Street double homicide case.
26-year old Antonio Dewan Fluellyn was shot and killed just before 11:30 p.m. at the Cowan Street home. Gaudet says the second shooting victim, 25-year old Deundra Montierro Emory, was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he later died.
Lowery remains behind bars at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
NewsCentral will have more on this case as details become available.
