Longtime Central Ga. Serviceman Retires after 41 Years of Service

A military mainstay stationed right here in middle Georgia is hanging up his wings.

After 41 years in the Air Force, Chief Master Sergeant Donald Camp was honored Friday by friends and colleagues during his retirement ceremony.

Before retiring, Camp was one of the longest active serving members of the U.S. Military. He was also one of the longest active serving Master Sergeants.

Camp became the State of Georgia Command Chief in 2010.
