Jones County Sheriff Office Catches Bicycle Bandits

The Jones County Sheriff office catches two bicycle bandits.

Officials arrested 19 year old Travis Basley and 18 year old Samuel Jackson both of Macon.

The two young men were arrested after a passerby called police about seeing suspicious behavior. The passerby reported seeing two men riding a bicycle and carrying a television.

Investigators checked out the area where the two suspects were last seen running into the woods. Police called out their canine and were able to track one down.

Investigators found the home that was broken into and the homeowner did confirm that their home was broken into.
