A Houston County High School teacher has 100,000 extra reasons to smile after winning big in the Georgia Lottery.

Hope Fordham of Macon won a $100,000 top prize playing the instant win game "Big Bucks."

“There are no words to describe it,” said Fordham in a press release from the Georgia Lottery.

Fordham claimed her prize at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Macon. The Quick Mart located at 700 North Davis Drive in Warner Robins sold the winning ticket.

Fordham said she purchased it after work. The mother of two said she plans to pay off bills with her win.
