A Houston County judge hands down three concurrent life sentences for a man who pleaded guilty to three armed robberies in Warner Robins.
37 year old, James Ray Ussery, of Effingham County plead guilty before the court on Thursday to all charges brought against him.
Ussery received an additional five years for using a firearm during a hold-up of two women at a Warner Robins cemetery on June 23, 2012.
He threatened to shoot the women if they didn't give him their purses.
He drove off with money, credit cards and personal items that were inside of both purses.
Houston County District Attorney, George Hartwig, said the victims later identified Ussery in a photo lineup.
Ussery also admitted to robbing a dollar general on Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins on June 29, 2012.
Ussery stole over 900 dollars from the store.
