Highway robbery in Crawford County

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office is seeking more information regarding a robbery Friday morning at the intersection of Boy Scout Road and Lower Hartley Bridge Road.

Sheriff Lewis Walker says around 3:45 a.m. a person was driving down Hartley Bridge Road when they noticed they were being followed by two people in a tan mini-van.

When the victim stopped at the intersection of Boy Scout Road the minivan pulled in front of the victim's car blocking it. The victim reported a black male jumped out of the car and demanded the victim's wallet while pointing a handgun at the victim.

The suspect is described as a black male around 5'8" with a slender build.
