“Asthma is the third leading cause of death in the world; we want to make sure that we help physicians understand our place. Our place is to empower parents, educate them, to inform them, and how to reduce triggers within their household.”
Common asthma triggers include substances, weather conditions, or activities. Asthma can't be cured, but it can be managed. The goal of asthma management is to reduce symptoms on a day-to-day basis.
