The parents of a missing Hawkinsville teen are on edge. They haven't heard from their daughter, Madison Conner, for more than a week.
The reason behind her disappearance is a mystery and now, her parents are reaching out for help to get their daughter back home.
They’re offering a $10,000.00 reward to help find their 15-year-old daughter. Tomorrow will be Madison’s 16th birthday and her parents say there's no better gift than to have her back home, safe and sound. "We're hoping that she is safe, I hope that she is not in a situation where she cannot call us," says Angela Conner, Madison’s mother.
Madison Conner is the older of two children and her parents Wes and Angela of Hawkinsville are understandably worried after she went missing from their home early on the morning February 23.
There were pillows in her bed to build the illusion that she was sleeping there.
Her room is decorated with her own original artwork and magazine clippings. Her parents say, it’s looks exactly like how she is. "Very creative, the things she just says and does, the way she reacts to things I laugh," says Wes Conner.
The Conner’s thank the community for coming together to support them as they search for their daughter. They believe that’s just the encouragement she needs to come home. "That's what we want her to know, that lots-tons of people care about her and want to see a safe return," adds Wes Conner.
Madison has auburn hair brown eyes, reaching about 5 feet 10 inches and weighing at least 130 lbs.
She also has braces.
If you have any information about Madison Conner’s whereabouts you are asked to call the Georgia Bureau of Investigation at 478-374-6988.
