Hall appointed principal of Russell Elementary

The Houston County Board of Education has appointed Jo Hall as principal of Russell Elementary School.
Hall is a 24-year veteran educator and most recently served as the assistant principal at Russell Elementary. Hall is originally from Conyers, but says she now considers Warner Robins her hometown.
“I am honored to be chosen as principal of Russell Elementary School,” Hall said in a press release. “I look forward to working with our wonderful students and teachers as well as our supportive parents in this new position. Russell is a fantastic school and we have many great days ahead!”
In 1989, Hall moved to Warner Robins to take a job teaching second grade at Miller Elementary School. Hall also taught at Miller Elementary, Quail Run Elementary and Feagin Mill Middle before accepting an administrative position at Russell Elementary.
A graduate of Heritage High School in 1984, Hall also graduated in 1988 from Georgia Southern University with an Early Childhood Education Degree. In addition, she earned a specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Georgia College and State University.
