Habitat for Humanity Dedicates Two More Homes

Rain didn't dampen turnout for a Habitat for Humanity gathering in Lynnmore Estates.
That's where the Macon area Habitat for Humanity dedicated two more homes, number 83 and 84 are now built and ready for new families.
So far, 29 families have received a home from the group's charitable mission.
Their goal is to bring more affordable housing to the area
Shaneka Jackson/Home Recipient:
“I am thankful for everything. People have come out and shown their love. I can't wait to get in and get things situated.”

The Macon area Habitat for Humanity has been serving Bibb & Jones counties since 1986.
They’re always looking for people willing to help eliminate substandard housing in the local community.
