Gucci Mane Keeps Macon Show Despite Threats

An Atlanta rapper is set to perform in Macon Friday night despite death threats from some gang members.

Gucci Mane is scheduled to perform at the Whiskey River Entertainment Complex in south Macon.

Published reports have area gang members promising death to the rapper. It's reportedly in retaliation for a shooting several years ago.

Macon Police say they are aware of Friday evening's performance and will monitor the situation. WGXA saw Macon Police on site before our crew was asked off the property.
