Grits Cafe Re-Opens

One of Middle Georgia's most popular restaurants is back after the building burned down almost a year ago.
Grits Cafe in Forsyth held its second grand opening on Saturday. The restaurant was closed after a fire in March that gutted the building leaving it in ashes. The business has been in the same location for thirteen years and some people in Forsyth say they're glad to have it back.
"All of us in Forsyth have been anticipating this day,” Forsyth resident, J. Ray Grant said. “We've been just praying for them to make it through what's been a terrible ordeal the last ten and a half months but we've been looking forward to it."
The restaurant will be closed on Sunday and Monday but will be serving customers again on Tuesday.
