Gang Related Shooting Under Investigation in Macon

Macon Police are searching for the triggerman in Sunday night's shooting at a local convenience store.

Police say shots rang out at the Family Food Convenience Store on Montpelier Avenue just before 9 p.m. Sunday.

One person was shot in the leg and taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia for treatment.

Several bullets hit the store front, as well as a car that was parked nearby.

No arrests have been made in the case. Police are classifying the shooting as "gang-related".
