Ga. Congressman Broun Reportedly Eying U.S. Senate Seat

NewsCentral Staff

Georgia Republican Congressman Paul Broun may be eying a run at the state's soon to be open U.S. Senate seat.

The Representative from Georgia's 10th District has called a news conference for Wednesday in Atlanta to presumably make an official announcement.

Just last week, the Washington Post quoted Broun's wife Nicki that the congressman will run for the open seat with the announced retirement of Senator Saxby Chambliss.

Broun, a medical doctor, has served Georgia's 10th District since 2007.
