GBI Still Investigating Pio Nono Kroger Shooting

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has yet to finish its probe into the fatal police shooting of a Macon man 2 weeks ago.

Officer Clayton Sutton is the officer suspected of using deadly force in a December 21st altercation with 49-year-old Sammie Davis, Junior outside of a Kroger grocery store on Pio Nono Avenue. No weapons were found on Davis.

Sutton remains on administrative leave which is standard policy as the investigation continues.
