GBI Investigating Baldwin County Jail 'Altercation'

The GBI is investigating the alleged beating of an inmate inside the Baldwin County jail.

Quincarlton Miles was treated for an injury to his eye after what Baldwin County authorities call an altercation.

The Sheriff's Department says it's performed an internal investigation into what happened between Miles and a detention officer.

Sheriff Bill Massee tells WGXA that he's also requested the GBI get involved to ensure that the investigation is conducted without bias.
