Friday Night Murder in Macon Under Investigation

Macon Police are investigating a Friday night murder in Macon.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones tells WGXA that around 8 p.m. Friday, police received a report of shots fired at 1949 Cedar Street. Upon arrival officers discovered a black male dead from a gunshot wound.

The victim has been identified 50-year-old Kenneth Cray of Warner Robins.

Coroner Jones says the shooting appears to be the result of a domestic dispute.

Macon Police have identified 52-year-old Jennifer Washington as a person of interest.

The Crime Lab is on the scene, along with the Macon Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
