Certain residents of Bibb County have the chance to fix their pup for free.

Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare plans to offer free spaying and neutering for Bibb County residents in the 31201 zip code only. People can visit the shelter on 11th street or call to make an appointment.

The shelter says it's a special 'thank you' for grant funds provided by PetSmart charities. Again, the free spaying and neutering is for residents in the 31201 zip code.
