Forsyth Road Store Robbery Under Investigation

WGXA spotted police activity at a Macon convenience store Thursday night.

Macon Police confirmed to WGXA they're investigating an armed robbery attempt at the Walthall Convenience Store on Forsyth Road.

An armed man entered the store and demanded money from the register.

A dispatch supervisor says the man was a black man wearing a jacket, bandana, and hoody that were all black.

Investigators believe the suspect took off in a car heading toward Napier Avenue.
