Forsyth Home Invasion Under Investigation

A Forsyth homeowner is recovering from surgery after a violent home invasion attack.
Chief of Police Keith Corley says it happened Tuesday night at this home on North Frontage Drive.
The homeowner apparently woke up to find two armed men in his bedroom, one demanding money.
When the man told the suspect he didn't have any, the victim says he was pistol whipped.
The owner was able to escape after a brief struggle.
He was hospitalized and taken to the Medical Center for surgery to his face.
Chief Corley says the victim suffered a broken nose.
As for the suspects, one armed with a shotgun and the other with a handgun.
Chief Keith Corley:

“This case is still ongoing. We are waiting for the chance to interview the victim. Any one with information is asked to please call us. “
The victim's family declined to talk to us about the attack
