'Fly South Festival' Raises Money for The Big House

NewsCentral Staff

The Big House in Macon hosted a backyard concert Saturday to keep one of the city's biggest tourist attractions open.

Five bands played throughout the day at the Allman Brothers Band museum for the fourth annual ‘Fly South Festival.’

The festival is a fundraiser for the museum. This is the first year the event has taken place at the Big House.

Event organizers say several hundred people attended throughout the day.

The festival was family friendly and also included a kid’s festival presented by the Macon Arts Festival.
