Firefighters Respond to Apartment Fire in Warner Robins

Firefighters in Warner Robins spent their Tuesday evening battling a blaze at a Houston County apartment complex.

Crews responded to 800 Leisure Lake Drive to the Sandpiper Apartment Complex. Pictures shows several units fully engulfed in flames.

According to officials with the Houston County Fire Department, all occupants were able to escape and no injuries have been reported.

It appeared that several buildings were on fire, but no exact count is available for how many units have been impacted.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, although lightning may be to blame as storms were in the area at the time of the call.
