Fatal hunting incident being investigated in Crawford County

A 22-year-old man has died after a hunting incident along Lindsey Road near the Monroe County line.

It happened November 1st around 7:30 p.m. The Crawford County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded to a report of a person shot. He was transported by ambulance to the Monroe County Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The shooting is being investigated as a hunting incident. The investigation is ongoing and names are being withheld until family can be notified.
