Fairytale Ball Raises Money To Make Childrens Dreams Come True

NewsCentral Staff

A Middle Georgia organization raises money on Saturday to give children fighting illnesses a dream room for a day.

The organization, "Rooms from the Heart" hosted the third Fairytale Ball Fundraiser at the Blacksmith Shop. The annual event raises about $20,000 which the group uses to make a dream room every month for what they call critically ill children. Organizers said the fundraiser not only gives kids a chance to play dress up but it also supports a good cause.

"It takes money to do all these rooms and we just get busy doing the rooms and if we don't let somebody know we're out there,” President Ann Mosley said. “We do depend on their donations and this helps to bring that recognition to our organization that hopefully brings in donations.”

The organization will have a garage sale fundraiser later this year.
