East Macon Store Clerk Robbed At Knifepoint

An early morning Shurling Drive armed robbery is under investigation by the Macon Police Department.

Public Information Officer Jami Gaudet tells NewsCentral, a man with a butcher knife robbed the Shruti Food Mart just before 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

Gaudet says the suspect fled the gas station with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.
