Broken Power Pole, Downed Lines Snarls Gray Traffic

Motorists were asked to avoid the downtown Gray intersection of Highway 129 and 22 Tuesday morning.

A dispatcher at the Gray Police Department tells WGXA police were forced to direct drivers away from a broken power pole and downed lines at the intersection.

Georgia Power Spokesperson John Craft tells WGXA that a crew was dispatched to restore power to nearly 1,000 customers and to install a new power pole.
