Dooly County Boy Recovering after Accidental Shooting

A 12-year-old Dooly County boy is recovering after a shooting Wednesday.

Dooly County Sheriff's Deputies tell WGXA it happened around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning at a Halifax Road home in Vienna. That's where the 12-year-old boy was shot by his 13-year-old friend.

The sheriff's office is calling the shooting an accident. We're told the boy is recovering at a hospital in stable condition.
