Detectives Seeking Witnesses in Fatal Gas Station Shooting

Macon Police continue to investigate the fatal shooting that happened at the Murphy Express on Gray Highway Tuesday afternoon.

Detectives involved in the case are hoping to speak to four people who may have witnessed the incident or have information. Pictures are attached to this story. Macon Police provided descriptions below:

1. The driver and passenger in the burgundy vehicle that stopped and rendered aid

2. The white male dressed in a dark, short-sleeve shirt and light pants, seen walking in the center right of photo #1

3. The passenger in the white pick-up truck with yellow stripes pulling a trailer. He is a black male wearing a cap and short-sleeve shirt, seen walking near the left center of photo #2.

The investigation stems from the shooting that happened just after 1 p.m. Tuesday. 73-year-old Frank Louis Reeves of Macon shot and killed 65-year-old Linda Hunnicutt of Jones County after they exchanged words following Reeves having made contact with Hunnicutt's car with his motorized wheelchair.
