Deadly Interstate Crash Near Cordele

A set of fatal crashes claim the lives of two Georgia men.
According to Georgia State Patrol Press Secretary, Donna Singleton, just after eight thirty Tuesday night, Cordele resident, Ronald William Reeds was negotiating a sharp curve on the Georgia 30 near mile marker 6 in Wilcox County when his 1993 Ford Aerostar van flipped several times, ejecting him from the vehicle.
Nearly twelve hours later at seven thirty Wednesday morning, A second accident occurred in Turner County involving a single tractor trailer.
Valdosta resident, Edgar Lee Zipperer left the I-75 north near mile marker 89 for unknown reasons, hitting a sign and two trees and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both accidents are still under investigation.
