Dead body discovered on Rocky Creek Road

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says the body of a woman was found around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the yard of a home on the 1300 block of Rocky Creek Road.

A person staying at an adjacent home says the woman was staying with neighbors last night. She described the woman as being in her mid-40's and having two children.

The witness says she did not see any blood around the body.

Police have not released any information.
