Dallemand Must Be Added to Lawsuit Involving Contract

WGXA has learned new details in the lawsuit questioning the validity of the Bibb County School's Superintendent's contract extension.

You'll recall Thomas Defore sued, claiming the School Board's vote approving Dr. Romain Dallemand's contract violated the state's open meetings law. Defore also claimed the contract contained items never approved by the board.

In Wednesday's order, Judge Edgar Ennis ruled that the lawsuit must also include Dallemand.

Defore has 21 days to add the superintendent to the suit.
