Court upholds life sentence for Houston County man

Georgia's Supreme Court has upheld a life sentence for a Houston County man convicted of killing two of his relatives.

Dwight Simmons lost his bid for a new trial in the 1989 murders of his aunt and 'Uncle Willie' and Bessie Lewis.

Simmons was 17-years-old at the time of the crime. He reportedly confessed to detectives and admitted his guilt in court.
