Couple Accused of Poisoning Dogs Out of Jail

A couple accused of poisoning dogs in Crawford County in September are now out of jail on a 5-thousand dollar bond.

Lisa Lynn and Donald Meeks, both of Knoxville, are charged with four counts of aggravated cruelty.

In September, a Crawford County pet owner reported that her nine dogs had been poisoned at her Bentley Road home.

Five of the nine dogs died after they were found to have eaten some raw meat laced with poison.
