Commissioners Unveil New Carts

The Bibb County Board of Commissioners show off the county's new energy savvy carts. The commissioners hosted a short press conference to unveil the new carts.
It’s all part of an effort to make Bibb County more environmentally friendly. The green team, which includes several staff members, found the funding for the carts.
Kevin Barrere, the Bibb Public Affairs Officer and a member of the Green Team, says “We are pretty proud of the Green Team Efforts this year to out electric vehicle charging station and now these electric utility vehicles.
In Tuesday’s showcase, eight brand new bad boy electric utility cars were featured.
They were purchased with a federal grant from the department of transportation.
