Chester woman dies after crash involving train

Dodge County Coroner Joe Smith says a 72-year-old woman from Chester died Monday morning in a crash with a Norfolk Southern train.

It happened just after 9:00 this morning at the rail crossing near the intersection of Highway 23 and 257.

Coroner Smith says the woman is 72-year-old Dorothy Lee Coley. An eyewitness says Coley ignored warning signals and crossarms and hit the passing train.
