Sexual assault charges against Bibb middle school teacher dismissed

The Weaver Middle School teacher accused of sexual assault has had his name cleared.

Samuel McPhee, a 2011 graduate of Albany State University was accused of and arrested for sexual assault of a student in April of 2012.

He was suspended from his position with the Bibb County School Board pending the cases outcome.

According to Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney, Greg Winters, the charges against the former teacher have been dismissed.

A Bibb County incident report, says a student accused his music teacher of touching him in an "inappropriate manner."
