Butler Police Chief Mike Peacock fired

The town of Butler is looking for a new police chief.

Mayor Pro-Tem Barry Whitley tells WGXA Mike Peacock, the former chief, was let go after Tuesday night's Butler City Council meeting.

Whitley says Peacock was not complying with his job requirements and duties. Assistant chief, Jimmy Town has been appointed the interim chief.
