Officials throughout Central Georgia are coming together hoping to spur ideas to stimulate and the Georgia economy.
Retired General Robert H. McMahon, who now heads the 21st Century Partnership, delivered the keynote address at the 2012 Middle Georgia Business and Industry Summit.
Attendees got together Tuesday to talk about economic and business development in Central Georgia. McMahon says the key is working together and capitalizing on areas the local area excels in.
"Aerospace. Our understanding of agriculture. The job that we're doing enhancing medical development throughout the community. All of that tied together for our universities and colleges that we have, we can create a viable workforce," said McMahon.
Tuesday's summit was designed to help Central Georgia businesses grow and become more competitive.
